Speed reading

Mid-last week I was asked if I could teach a segment of a subject.

I said "I'll need to check, but it will probably be okay. When does it start?"

"In a week."

Nice to have, you know, preparation time.

(Only, people pretty much started hounding him for results ten minutes after the election, so a week doesn't look all that bad...)
